In our house right now this new amaryllis. I am watching the smooth green bud several times a day! Also our "prehistorical" fern is having a baby..another one! I love watching it unfold a little more each day. What a hairy creature!
Your new "baby" is really quite cute! I'm excited to see him, or her! develop. A January Amaryllis - I thought I was the only one with one of those this year! What color is she destined to be?
Thanks for the compliment on our new baby, you know how to please parents.....of a strange somewhat extraterrestrial hairy baby! About the amaryllis,I just bought that one and there was no indication as to what its color would be but I am guessing that it will be some shade of red since in stores that is the most commonly available. I mean in grocery stores. I bought this one at Trader Joe's.
