Steve got me up at 6am this past Sunday morning. Soon after we were on our way.Finally the big day had arrived when he was going to break 20 minutes for the 5K and..................he did it!!!! I was looking and looking, nobody in sight yet and then I see a guy coming into the lane, the first one and, YES, it is Steve and I am screaming "yes, yes, yes" tears in my eyes.
I am SO happy for him. He had been training hard, so focused on his goal. What we did not really foreseen , was that he would finish 1st overall.GREAT
