Pictures From the Track

Talking to Olympian Dick Fosbury who revolutionized the high jump with the technique now called the "Fosbury Flop"

And having my picture taken with the great Willie Banks, world record holder in triple jump in 1985 (which remained unbroken for a decade), Hall of Famer, three-time Olympian, won the 2007 World Master Championship, etc..

The W60 100m medalists with 2 of the ribbon winners: From left silver medalist Saundra Rue(time of 15.43), then gold medalist, our most famous incredible athlete, Phil Raschker (time of 14.41), bronze medalist Mary White (time of 16.19). Cannot identify these 2 wonderful female sprinters with ribbons.

I talked briefly with Phil 2 or 3 times and she posed for me with the gold medal she had just won in the 100m dash. She got many other medals in these games, almost all gold. She is an incredibly gifted athlete. For more about her go there.
