These 2 "adorable" little skunks came to visit the other day behind our garden wall. I could hear noises made by tiny feet (perhaps my chickens escaped in the wilderness?) in the dried leaves so I peeked and this is what I saw. They did not seem bothered the least bit and since they are near-sighted maybe they just did not notice me

wow, good thing they did not mind you being there, otherwise, you would have paid the price! :) which hill did you run this morning? I started speed work, hard but very effective, I noticed improvement within the same run! It's going to be tough on Saturday though, haven't raced in over a year... ouch!
Bonsoir, Fast Runner, I know...I was kind of fearful of just that but they just kept being busy looking for stuff to eat, sniffing, scurrying along...
I am sure that you will do well this Sat and that you will enjoy getting back into doing some races!...I am wondering about the temperature though and the fact that at that time I usually do not have tons of energy:(
Same with me, I'm usually beat at night, we will be at a disadvantage compared to people who usually run at night, like Heather (I don't think she'll be racing though). It can only be fun anyway, at that time it shouldn't be that warm anymore, since the sun sets at about 8:10, and there will be plenty of action going on to entertain us while running (Nob Hill is booming on Saturday night). I'm not expecting to do well really, but it should be fun!
