The Strawberry Tarte
First the dough being so buttery and sugary kept breaking....
Here is the pre-baked shell. It had a funny shape, kind of all over the place and randomly pricked by my fork!
These strawberries were not that flavorful. They were very cold at the market and I could not quite judge.
Preparing the red currant jelly...I forgot to take a pic of the preparation of the "creme patissiere" that forms the first layer under the berries. (with ample Grand Marnier btw!)
It looks nice enough....
But if one looks closely one notices the "damages" :)
Well, I finished this tart with Steve's help (so that I would not stand on my feet too much):)
It is not a total success but it got done. Later on we shall taste it and notify you guys.
