I had forgotten this one (above) which is a mixed media collage utilizing my drawings on lokta paper.

These are very small watercolors sometimes with inks. They measure 8" x  8" on khadi paper. One could call them  exercises. I have been trying to loosen up....not an easy thing,  I repeat not an easy thing ,but I have made some progress.

It is so nice that you are back sharing your pretty pieces...your art makes me think of the word "organic" when I see it. I just love it! I am curious about these papers and I am curious about your trip to Paris because I have always dreamed of seeing it and I am curious why blogger seemed to drop me off of your follower list and why I can't get "My Cup of Tea" onto my side thumbnails. I don't even see you on my list of blogs that I follow????

I am happy you are back. :)

Lisa, what a wonderful surprise to find your comment on my blog! Thank you so much.
Ever since I was a little girl (that was a long long time ago) I recall being incredibly attracted to plants, flowers, seeds, birds and insects. In my studio, under a fair amount of years old dust, displayed on several shelves, you will find all kinds of dried leaves, seeds, plants, bird nests, eggs, feathers, dessicated skeletons of various kinds (lizards, bird heads, etc). The rare visitors look at me strangely but that's ok. Some like what they see. My work almost always had something "organic" about it.Perhaps now more than before. I am finding my way to somewhere, a place I still do not know but I have a feeling about it, something already visited.
Wow, I think I have to stop here before this becomes a novel:)
But you deserved a thorough answer. No idea why I disappear from your world by the way!

I am thrilled to have found your blog today! I love these pieces, and although they are all beautiful, the top one is my favourite! Beautiful! I enjoyed my visit, and hope you keep up the blogging, as I want to come back and see what else you create. I loved your junk mail book as well. What FUN!

Your art speaks to me and reminds me of my deep love of nature. I love the layers of seeds and leaves and flowers ... like a forest floor. Layer upon layer.
