Studio Work
More collage with my papers, some areas will be reworked (another layer of paper collaged over or painted over).
Yesterday I worked for a looooooooonnnnnnnnnnng time making this piece of "complicated" paper (15" x 10 3/4" or 38,1 cms x 27,3cms) : small pieces of my stack of 23 previously shown papers, either torn or cut that are glued over a piece of deli paper. I will be able to cut shapes out of this paper to collage onto my figure...still no color.
Sorry, pics are not great, can't spend the time:)
The color will come later....I think!

Snow Canyon
Named after early Utah leaders, not after the snow which is actually rarely seen here.
The sand here is so fine that our shoes leave incredibly crisp details and the path is protected enough from the gentle winds that they remain there for a long time. We only met one couple on this walk and the shoe imprints were plentiful, signs of many visitors.
Just outside St.George, a beautiful place with a mixture of red sandstone cliffs, white ones and black lava rocks.

St. George: The Food
So sorry, St. George folks, but the only food that was good was to be found there:
For those of you who have not yet experienced the In-n-Out epicurean delights, if you have a chance go, no rush to it! There are to be found in a very few western states, like California, Arizona, Utah... Forget the calories and the artery clogging concept there:)
That's the fancy decor inside
Oh my!.....
Everywhere else it was either mediocre or plain bad.
