Cleaning My Studio.....Oddities on a Shelf
YEAH!....well, I am NOT dusting this shelf!
Among other treasures, on the right, you can see a pheasant leg that I cleaver-chopped and dried to grace my studio shelf. It was difficult to dry it in such a position that it would stand up on its own. Now, weeks later it is not really standing up any longer. By the way that is one leg of that poor pheasant given to us by my neighbour Allan and that I cooked last Fall (Pheasant Forestiere...). Delicious, remember?
Other interesting (to me for sure) vintage leather baby booties, bird head, dessicated gourd, variety of bones (no, not human:-), bird nest, old letters from printing press (can't remember the word...may-be "types"), an imprint of my treasured teeth, etc
