Finally, upon my return I am enjoying the fruit of my planting: this morning glory in all its...glory. CocoNut is happy and enjoying the sweet afternoon air. So happy to see my studio
Just a fond hello to everybody...bisous to others. It is 8:56am and I am busy emptying suitcases, sorting things, admiring goodies brought back from France...will post later today
Diablo insists on being in the traveling party to France....at any cost! So last post until " la ville Lumiere" where we will arrive Saturday morning. Don't even know whether I will have the time... Love to all!
2 little brooches received for my birthday (almost 2 months ago) and a new , no, not any more bracelet given by my sweetie. Can you see that he really knows me? Right above, look carefully at those...leaves!
Sorry, I am working in the studio but for now that is all I will post, so there! From immediately above and up: A peacock grooming himself A gorgeous macaw Myself...before I lost the weight One of the many ducks in the big pond
It is a real mess....sometimes we can't get out of our lane. It is quite an adventure every day. What are they doing in the village of Los Ranchos right now? Why all these monster machines? They are putting city sewer lines....all of us here in the village had septic tanks....kind of backward no? It was peaceful though but ours failed awhile ago so we will be glad when we can take long showers again!
What a title, but here it is, altogether in one post for fun:First the chicken dish: Chicken legs with tomatoes and black olives...quick and deliciousSecond I need to exercise to get to eat what's in my plate, picture courtesy of hubby SteveThird our new cat CocoNut(like "new" Tide or "new" whatever) shaved, thanks to the skillful hands of my son David, with my assistance....we were in the midst of cat hair, in the eyes, around our nose, mouth, etc...itching, miserable but it is almost done. She had so many tangles and knots that this was the only thing to do, contrary to what she told us. We think she is very sexy like this. Recipe for the asking
Immediately above, our friend Sergio arriving at the finish line with a super wonderful time of 3:33. Then my young French friend Marion who did an amazing time of 3:28 and made me so proud....as I was yelling "go Marion" and "vive la France". These two ran the New Mexico Marathon! I do not understand what this really means......ouch..ouch...ouch Finally my very own darling champion/hubby finishing his 5k...2nd in his age group. Check his feet, he is airborne! I am very proud of him!
