Junk Mail Book....The End

watercolors, chinese white, on junk mail paper
detail

Finally......done! Pursuing the work until the end was, quite frankly, difficult as my head was on other things by then....but i said i would finish it and i am very stubborn! quite happy actually .... learned a lot while working on these pages. As i said before watercolor is not a medium i am familiar with. Before starting on this i was working on a woman's face so now i will happily go back to it, it's been staring at me from the corner of the room.
PS: More dots...dots...dots....dots.. d....zzzzz....

  1. happy to have seen you complete you project. the work is so fine - true labor of love. I have the same issues - slowing down towards the end of a piece mostly because your mind is already jumping ahead to the next WIP. Hope you put a slide show together of the beginning and end. it would be great to see it all as one piece...thank you for sharing this project. inspiring.

Can't wait to see the face you're working on. I've seen you faces on Flickr and they are beautiful!

  7. I love this and the rest of your junk journal, it's fabulous. Thanks for commenting on my blog. Bond paper is what architects and illustrators use for pencil sketching, it's quite thin but takes acrylic paint beautifully, bank paper is similar too but doesn't have a sheen to it, I use them both.
