Quickie Face


i was experimenting with this Chinese paper (book) on calligraphy. i have always loved these characters and find them totally beautiful. This was very quickly done especially when i noticed that i had not painted a layer of medium to protect the paper which is very fragile....made a couple holes...these characters are like rubons , showing quite a bit of relief. i love this paper and i intend to do more like this one but i will prepare my paper before hand!

    Super et tout à fait différente, un air altier et et ces caractères qui sont des petits chefs d'oeuvre à eux seuls, tu vas à tout allure maintenant pour mon plus grand bonheur !

    tu vois, pas besoin de lécher, pourlécher, allécher, etc etc, quand tu vas vite c'est tout aussi beau que d'habitude. C'est la classe. De quoi est-ce fait? Pastels?

    I like your art very much too, You have such a way with earthy color...my favorite. I need to work on toning down my color...I'm so new at art I tend to squish it straight out of the tube and go.

    I'm wondering if you are the person what was at the Jesse Reno workshop in ABQ a couple of years ago.

    My day job is near Los Ranchos, at about 4th and Montano. So yes we are very near one another.

    Paula, yes, I did take that workshop and I remember a Paula but cannot put a face on the name:)

    Actually there were two Paula's at that workshop! HA!

    I work at 1730 Montano in the old Furr's building. Yep, close by!
